Lettings Negotiator celebrates great start to 2025
Amy Molloy studied at the town’s Sixth Form College and is now maximising her career with Balfours, property professionals. Amy Molloy, who secured her position as Lettings Negotiator with the Balfours Letting department, 15 months ago, has now passed her Rightmove “Level 3 – Certificate for Estate and Letting Agents – CELA.”
She explains: “With my level 3 under my belt, I have now been accepted as ARLA accredited. My plans for 2025 are to continue my studies and further qualify with ARLA. I am very lucky to have a supportive team with Alistair Hilton Head of Sales and Paula Wells, Lettings Team Manager.”
She continues: “There is a huge amount to learn, with the Renters Reform Bill likely to pass by early summer. Fortunately, at Balfours we have learned a lot through the implementation of the current Welsh Law which stands us in good stead. There is no doubt the Renters Reform will bring drastic change and significant additional compliance.”
Alistair Hilton adds: “At Balfours we need to be ready too for the Regulation of Property Agents, ROPA, which will require all staff working in Estate Agency to be qualified to a minimum standard. Supporting Amy, and indeed all our staff, will ensure that we are ahead of the curve and prepared for ROPA.”
Amy reflects that the letting’s market has been exceptionally strong: “I like how busy we are, how many plates we juggle for clients, tenants and applicants. There is no doubt, the lettings process is extremely complex, we are here not only to let properties, but also to ensure landlords are on the right side of a huge raft of legislation coming down the line.”
Alistair concludes: “Amy really did hit the ground running, she’s a team player keen to develop her property agency skills, which is a win for both Amy and Balfours.” If you are considering letting your property, our quality dedicated service is just a phone call away.”
