Herefordshire countryside showstopper, four-bed, plus annex

Demesne a four-bedroom home with annexed accommodation, found in the charming village of Almeley, within Herefordshire’s beautiful countryside is on the market with Balfours. The village boasts amenities including primary school, public house and church.

The renowned black and white villages of Eardisley, Weobley and Pembridge are in easy reach, as are Leominster and Kington. Add to this the foodie and cultural hot spots of Hay on Wye and Ludlow and the location offers a charmed lifestyle.

Balfours partner, Scott Kemsley comments: “Internally Demesne is an easy match to its surroundings, beautifully presented, fresh and contemporary. The staircase features in the entrance hall, where doors lead to the open plan living space and study, with conservatory beyond.”

The open plan living space affords a dedicated kitchen area which opens into a generous space for dining and relaxing. French doors open from either side of this area, offering excellent natural light. The kitchen area has peninsular and island bars, whilst there remains ample space for a more formal dining table too.

To the opposite end a fitted log burner warms your welcome. Off the kitchen area is a utility. On the first-floor landing are found the master room with en-suite with an additional three bedrooms and family bathroom.

Returning to the ground floor the multi-generation or Air BnB annex comprises of a kitchen breakfast room, and a reception room. Scott adds: “Both rooms are of well-balanced proportions, as is the first-floor annex double bedroom, with glazing to two aspects and an ensuite shower room.”

Outside is a double car port and very low maintenance garden, with views to Herefordshire farmland being the real showstopper. Balfours are marketing Demesne with a guide price of £650,000. For more information call 01584 707100.
